Speak Skillfully Workshop

In this workshop, AquaTerra volunteers focused on building confidence and communication among younger children. From “mirror talk” exercises to fun speech games, the session offered tools to help kids express themselves clearly and confidently. Volunteers served as both coaches and cheerleaders, guiding shy speakers into small storytelling sessions and mock interviews. It wasn’t about perfect grammar—it was about being heard. Laughter echoed through the room, especially during tongue twisters and roleplay segments. By the end, many kids who started out whispering were speaking up loud, proud, and smiling.
