Workshop
Thursday 21 April, 2022
40 Children taught
Location : Don Bosco School, Park Circus
On Earth Day, AquaTerra volunteers brought sustainability to life with hands-on activities that were anything but boring. Held in classrooms and community spaces, the workshop was packed with games, upcycling demos and sorting challenges. Volunteers simplified big topics—like climate change, waste segregation, and fast fashion—into fun, interactive sessions that actually stuck. One corner had a trash-sorting race; another, a recycled art zone. What made it work wasn’t fancy presentations—it was the honesty, energy, and relatability that the volunteers brought in. By the end, kids weren’t just learning—they were leading mini-cleanups on their own. Earth Day wasn’t a lecture—it was a spark.
