One for All - Gender Equality Workshop

This wasn’t your typical lecture. AquaTerra’s gender equality workshop created a safe, open space where volunteers facilitated activities that made people feel what inequality looks like. Skits, role plays, reflection circles, and myth-busting games filled the day. Volunteers addressed real topics—respect, boundaries, stereotypes, power dynamics—and kept it real. One powerful activity had participants reflect silently on everyday privilege. Another flipped gender roles in classic fairy tales. The workshop didn’t aim to preach, but to spark questions and empathy. What emerged was conversation, not confrontation—and a room that felt a little more equal by the end.
