Location : Pather Sathi
The art workshop was a lively and enriching event designed to spark creativity and self-expression among students. It provided a fun, relaxed environment where participants could explore different artistic techniques and materials while developing their imagination and visual skills. The session began with a warm welcome and a brief introduction by the instructors, who shared the importance of art in everyday life. Students were introduced to basic concepts such as shapes, colours, patterns, and textures. They were also shown a few simple techniques like sketching, colour blending, and using mixed media. Participants were provided with a variety of art materials including paints, crayons, coloured pencils, brushes, glue, scissors, and decorative paper. With these, they created their own artworks based on a given theme or personal inspiration. Some painted landscapes or animals, while others made greeting cards, collages, or abstract designs. The atmosphere was filled with energy and focus as students worked individually and sometimes in pairs, helping and encouraging one another. The instructors moved around, giving tips and positive feedback, while allowing each child to express their own artistic style freely. To make the experience more interactive, fun games and art-based challenges were included, and students were invited to talk about their artwork and what inspired them. At the end of the session, all the completed pieces were displayed in a small exhibition-style setup. Overall, the art workshop was an enjoyable and inspiring experience. It not only enhanced students' artistic skills but also boosted their confidence, creativity, and love for self-expression through art.
