Location : Pather Sathi
The art workshop was a vibrant and engaging event that encouraged students to explore their creativity and express themselves through different forms of visual art. It was designed to be inclusive, relaxing, and fun, allowing participants of all skill levels to enjoy the process of creating something beautiful. The session began with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the basics of art and its importance in everyday life. The facilitators introduced various art techniques such as sketching, painting, and colouring, while also encouraging students to think freely and imaginatively. Participants were provided with a variety of materials like paints, brushes, crayons, coloured pencils, and textured paper. Students were invited to work on individual art pieces based on a theme or their own inspiration. Throughout the session, the instructors offered guidance and tips on using colour, balance, and composition, while also giving students the freedom to experiment and make their own creative choices. As the students worked, the environment was filled with enthusiasm and quiet focus. Some children created nature-inspired landscapes, while others expressed emotions or abstract ideas through colour and shapes. There were also opportunities for peer interaction, where students could share their ideas and get feedback from one another. At the end of the workshop, a mini exhibition was set up to showcase all the artwork. Each participant received appreciation for their effort and creativity. The art workshop proved to be a successful and fulfilling experience that helped boost confidence, relax the mind, and celebrate the joy of artistic expression.
