The mosaic art workshop was a colourful and creative event that encouraged participants to explore the beautiful art of mosaic-making. Designed to inspire imagination and develop fine motor skills, the workshop provided a wonderful opportunity for students to learn a new artistic technique while expressing their creativity. The session began with a warm welcome and an introduction to the history and basics of mosaic art by the instructors. They demonstrated how simple pieces of glass, ceramic, stones, and coloured paper could be arranged to form intricate patterns and stunning designs. Participants were provided with all the necessary materials—tiles, adhesive, baseboards, and protective gloves. Step-by-step guidance was offered as students started designing their own mosaics, choosing patterns ranging from traditional floral designs to modern abstract art. The workshop fostered patience, focus, and attention to detail, as each small piece needed to be thoughtfully placed. Students eagerly worked on their creations, sharing ideas with one another and receiving helpful tips from the instructors. The atmosphere buzzed with creativity as the vibrant pieces slowly came together into unique works of art. Midway through the session, there was an informal sharing round where participants showed their progress and offered each other encouragement. The event concluded with a display of completed mosaics, where students proudly presented their artwork. Overall, the mosaic art workshop was a fun and enriching experience. It allowed participants to experiment with colour, texture, and design, while gaining hands-on skills and enjoying the satisfaction of crafting something truly beautiful.
