Books have power—and during this drive, AquaTerra volunteers made sure that power reached the right hands. The storybook collection drive aimed to gather gently-used children’s books to support reading corners in underserved schools and shelters. Volunteers designed cute posters, set up collection points, and even created short storytelling videos to spread the word. What came in was magical: fairytales, folk stories, adventure books, comics, and childhood favourites. Volunteers sorted, packed, and curated bundles to match different age groups. But more than just logistics, it was an emotional drive. Many donated books held personal notes and bookmarks, reminding everyone that stories carry memories. As the books reached their new homes, kids lit up—because someone had shared their world with them. It was literacy, yes, but also love.
