Ek Tara: Nature × English – Day 4 — Writing with Roots, Reading with Heart Day 4 of Nature × English at Ek Tara was where language met responsibility. After building confidence through poetry, storytelling, and description in earlier sessions, this day focused on channeling emotion into environmental expression. Students explored themes like deforestation, climate change, and the beauty of the natural world—but through their own words. They wrote short essays, letters to the earth, and simple speeches from the perspective of trees, rivers, and animals. Group discussions followed, where students read aloud and offered each other feedback, claps, and gentle corrections. What stood out was the passion. Children spoke about wanting cleaner air, protecting birds, or just wishing people would stop throwing wrappers near their homes. Their words were honest, unfiltered, and deeply rooted in lived experience. By the end of the session, students didn’t just improve their English—they strengthened their voice as young environmental thinkers. Because when learning feels real, language becomes more than skill—it becomes power.
