Sentence Secrets: Subjects & Predicates

AquaTerra welfare project · Ek Tara

At Ek Tara, seven AquaTerra volunteers turned a grammar lesson into something the 15 kids in the room actually looked forward to. Subjects and predicates, often a dry topic on paper, were broken down with examples and back-and-forth questioning until the concept clicked.

Worksheets followed the discussion, giving the children a chance to put what they'd just learned into practice. By the end of the session, sentences that once felt like a jumble of words were being confidently pulled apart into their parts.
