Three volunteers ran Science Time at School on Wheels - HUHT in May 2023, walking twenty-five children through foundational science concepts using simple explanations and a few hands-on demonstrations. Questions came quickly once the ideas started clicking.
The goal wasn't to cover everything, just to build curiosity and give students a stronger footing in ideas they'd meet again in the classroom. Judging by how many hands stayed up through the session, that curiosity was well and truly sparked.
