Six AquaTerra volunteers spent time at the Urban Shelter for the Homeless this May, sitting with and supporting 20 elderly residents through conversation and small acts of care. It was less about a program and more about presence.
Respect and Reach keeps coming back to this shelter because the residents deserve more than a one-time visit. The volunteers listened to stories, shared some laughs, and left having reminded 20 elders that they hadn't been forgotten.
