Three volunteers ran Table Time at School on Wheels - HUHT in May 2023, turning multiplication tables into something closer to a game than a chore for thirty children. Chants, quick drills, and a bit of friendly competition kept the energy up.
Maths can be a tough sell for a classroom of restless kids, but breaking it into a fun, repeatable rhythm made the numbers stick a little easier. By the end, most of the room was reciting tables they'd been struggling with just an hour before.
