For the Future brought five AquaTerra volunteers to Ek Tara this April, marking Earth Day with a workshop for 60 children on conservation and sustainability. Discussions ranged from recycling habits to why trees matter, with the kids full of questions throughout.
Earth Day gave the session a natural hook, and the volunteers used it well, keeping the ideas concrete rather than abstract. By the end, 60 children at Ek Tara had a clearer sense of the small choices that add up to a healthier planet.
