In August 2022, three AquaTerra volunteers ran Safety First at Shanti Rani Primary School, walking forty children through the basics of first aid, from treating small cuts to knowing when to call for help. The lessons were kept simple and hands-on, suited to the age group in the room.
What the volunteers hoped to leave behind wasn't just information but a bit of confidence: that these kids now know a few things to do in a moment that matters. Practical skills like these tend to stick, long after the workshop itself is over.
