This December, AquaTerra brought a slice of Christmas cheer to AIM Foundation with the third edition of Merry Miracles. Three volunteers sat down with the kids for an afternoon of craft and colour, guiding them through making their own Santa masks from scratch.
Thirty children took part, snipping, gluing, and decorating until the room was full of red hats and cotton-wool beards. It was a small, simple activity, but the laughter and pride on display made it clear how much a bit of festive creativity can mean.
For the volunteers, it was another reminder that the best workshops are the ones where the kids do most of the talking.
