Color Club - Art Workshop

At Ektara, one AquaTerra volunteer ran an art workshop for twenty-five children, first talking through what a Green Diwali means and why firecrackers harm the environment before letting the kids put the idea into art. The discussion came first, the posters followed. The children then made posters promoting a cracker-free Diwali, translating the conversation into images and slogans of their own making. It was a small session with a clear message, using art to make an environmental lesson stick a little longer than a lecture might have.
