The Art Nook - Art Workshop

At School On Wheels, two AquaTerra volunteers ran an art workshop for fifty-four children ahead of Diwali, guiding them through making greeting cards while sharing stories about the festival. The room buzzed with glue, glitter, and questions about the tales being told. The volunteers alternated between storytelling and hands-on help, making sure every child left with a card they'd made themselves. It was a festive, high-turnout session that blended craft and culture, giving the children something to carry home besides the cards themselves.
