Two AquaTerra volunteers headed out for the forty-eighth Tails and Treats drive in Salt Lake this August, making sure 55 stray dogs got fed and looked after. Even with a smaller team, the familiar routes made the round efficient.
The dogs in this area have grown used to the visits, several trotting up before the volunteers had even finished unpacking the food. It's a quiet kind of consistency that builds trust over time.
Another round wrapped up, another day of care delivered to Salt Lake's strays.
