The 26th edition of Grow Green brought eleven AquaTerra volunteers to Ashok Hall School this August, planting 100 saplings on the school grounds. Twenty-six rounds in, this plantation drive has quietly added up to a lot of green cover across the city.
With a team of eleven, the planting moved efficiently, each volunteer taking a row of saplings and working through the school grounds methodically. Students at Ashok Hall joined in for parts of the drive, turning the effort into something the school could take ownership of going forward.
100 more saplings now stand at Ashok Hall, a small forest in the making for a school that helped plant it.
