In early July, a single AquaTerra volunteer took on the Book Basket drive at Ashoka Building, going door to door to collect books for children who don't always have easy access to them. Three kilograms may sound modest, but every book collected was one more chance for a child to read something new.
The drive relied on the goodwill of residents willing to part with books they'd already enjoyed, passing them forward to someone who could use them next.
It was a quiet, one-person effort that added another small contribution to AquaTerra's ongoing mission of getting books into the hands of kids who need them.
