Five AquaTerra volunteers kicked off Morpheus at South City International School this July, greeting a turnout of 300 students on the very first day. The Roots tees became an instant marker of the event, spotted across the courtyard as students settled in.
With numbers like that, the day had an energy of its own, volunteers moving between groups, answering questions, and keeping the momentum going. It set a strong tone for whatever the rest of Morpheus had in store.
Day 1 closed with the sense that this was only the beginning of something bigger on campus.
