Four AquaTerra volunteers made their way to Avani Oxford this June for the 39th round of Tails and Treats, bringing food to 55 stray dogs in the area. The routine was familiar by now, but the care behind it never felt routine to the dogs waiting.
Bowls were filled, treats handed out, and a bit of time was spent simply sitting with the strays who don't always get that kind of attention.
It was another steady, unglamorous evening that added up to real relief for the neighbourhood's dogs.
