Eight AquaTerra volunteers headed out to MBA Chaiwala in Laketown this June for another round of Tails and Treats, the 36th edition of the drive. With bowls and packed meals in hand, they made sure 70 stray dogs in the area got a proper meal.
The outing was as much about connection as it was about food — volunteers spent time with the dogs, some wary, some instantly friendly, building the kind of trust that makes future feedings easier.
It was a straightforward, feel-good evening, proof that consistency in small acts of care adds up for the strays who call these streets home.
