Book Basket - Book Collection Drive 12.0

Near Bidhanagar Tank, four AquaTerra volunteers ran the twelfth edition of the book collection drive, gathering five kilograms of books to pass on to children who need them. It was a modest haul, but every book collected finds its way to a new reader. The volunteers spent the day going door to door and speaking with residents, explaining the drive and collecting whatever old books people were willing to part with. Conversations were short but genuine, and most people were happy to help once they understood where the books were headed. Drives like this one keep AquaTerra's Book Basket initiative running steadily, one neighbourhood at a time.
