One AquaTerra volunteer carried out the ninth Book Basket drive in Beleghata this June, gathering 2.5 kilos of books from the neighbourhood for underprivileged children. Door to door, the collection grew one contribution at a time.
There's a simplicity to this kind of drive, no elaborate setup, just a volunteer and a bag, but the impact is just as real, each book handed over is one more child gets a chance to read something new.
Beleghata's response added another small but meaningful stack to the ongoing effort.
