At Paymanti Housing this June, one AquaTerra volunteer took on the seventh edition of Book Basket solo, going block to block asking residents to part with books they no longer needed. By the end of the drive, 1.5 kgs of books had been gathered.
It's the kind of work that rarely makes headlines but keeps a larger cycle moving, books collected here eventually land in the hands of underprivileged children who could use another story to read.
