Five AquaTerra volunteers set up at the Sarat Bose Road temple this March for the sixth round of Food For All, handing out 600 bananas to people passing through. It's a simple gesture, but a filling one for anyone who hasn't had a proper meal that day.
The location near the temple meant a steady stream of people throughout the drive, and the volunteers made sure the distribution stayed quick and dignified rather than turning into a scramble. Conversations happened alongside the handouts, with volunteers checking in on regulars from earlier rounds.
Six editions in, Food For All continues to do what it set out to do — put something nutritious into as many hands as possible.
