Six AquaTerra volunteers took the fourth Food For All drive to New Alipore this March, carrying packed meals and 600 bananas to share along the way. The extra fruit meant a bit more to hand out at each stop, stretching the drive's reach a little further than usual.
Conversations were brief but genuine, a quick word, a smile, before moving to the next person waiting. It's in these small exchanges that the drive finds its real value, beyond just the food itself.
By the end of the route, every packet and banana had found someone, and no one nearby went without a meal that day.
