Five AquaTerra volunteers brought science to life at School On Wheels HUHT this March, running hands-on experiments for 35 children under Think and Tinker. Rather than textbook explanations, the session leaned on demonstrations the kids could see and touch.
Each experiment came with a simple explanation of the science behind it, giving the children both the wonder of watching something happen and the understanding of why. The room stayed buzzing with questions throughout, a good sign that curiosity was doing its job.
By the end, 35 kids had a few new science facts to carry home, along with the memory of watching them unfold firsthand.
