Holi came early to Pather Sathi this March, with seven AquaTerra volunteers bringing organic colors for 35 children to celebrate with. What started as a quiet gathering quickly turned into a riot of color, laughter, and the kind of chaos that only Holi can create.
Using organic colors kept the celebration safe for the kids while losing none of the fun — handfuls of color, splashes of water, and plenty of shrieking and running around. Volunteers joined in as much as they supervised, making the celebration feel shared rather than staged.
By the end, everyone was covered head to toe in color, and Pather Sathi had one more festival memory to add to the year.
