Force and Fun - Physics Workshop

AquaTerra welfare project · Shoishob

At Shoishob this February, two AquaTerra volunteers ran Force and Fun, a physics workshop that swapped formulas for hands-on demonstrations for 40 children. Concepts like force and motion came alive through simple experiments the kids could try themselves.

With just two volunteers managing a group this size, the pace stayed brisk, but that energy translated into an engaged, noisy classroom full of questions and guesses before each demonstration was explained. It's the kind of curiosity that's hard to spark with a textbook alone.

By the end of the session, physics felt a little less abstract to the 40 children who'd just watched it in action.
