One AquaTerra volunteer ran Brush and Buzz at Pather Sathi this February, combining art and quiz rounds for 30 children in a single lively session. Working solo with a group this size meant keeping things simple, but the format did the heavy lifting.
Children alternated between sketching freely and answering quick-fire quiz questions, giving the session a nice rhythm between quiet focus and noisy competition. The quiz rounds in particular got surprisingly competitive, with kids eager for another turn.
By the end, the room was covered in drawings and full of kids still arguing over quiz answers — a good sign the session had done its job.
