Four AquaTerra volunteers set up Art Hour at Pather Sathi this January, giving 30 children a free afternoon of painting and craft to explore however they liked. Some stuck to bold brushstrokes, others got lost in the smaller details.
There was no single lesson plan here, just space for the kids to create and volunteers on hand to encourage rather than correct. It turned into a relaxed, colourful session at Pather Sathi that let imagination take the lead.
