For Best Friends Day, two AquaTerra volunteers headed to Ek Tara to run an art-based workshop celebrating friendship with twenty-five children. Crayons and paper became the medium for talking about what it means to have someone in your corner. The kids drew pictures of their closest friends and shared little stories behind each one, turning a simple prompt into an afternoon of warmth and giggles. The volunteers mostly stayed out of the way, letting the children's own friendships take center stage. It was a small session, but one that left the room a little louder and a little closer by the end of it.
