Four AquaTerra volunteers organised Draw the Line at Gyandeepak this June, turning a simple drawing competition into a showcase for 30 children's imagination. Themes were kept open-ended, letting kids decide what story their drawing would tell.
The competitive element added a spark of excitement, with children peeking at each other's work and cheering on their friends' ideas. Volunteers judged gently, making sure the focus stayed on effort and creativity rather than ranking.
By the end, the space was covered in colourful entries, each one a small window into how these children see the world.
