Two AquaTerra volunteers partnered with AIM this May to distribute 100 packets of sanitary napkins as part of the Comfort Kits drive, pairing the handout with conversations around menstrual hygiene. For many women, the discussion mattered as much as the supplies themselves.
Volunteers kept the tone open and non-judgmental, answering questions and clearing up misconceptions that often go unaddressed. That openness made the drive feel less transactional and more like genuine support.
By the end of the day, 100 packets had reached women who needed them, along with a bit more awareness to go with it.
