Five volunteers took the sixth Sharbat Seva drive to Ballygunge Circular Road, pouring layered, colourful glasses of chilled Rooh Afza for anyone who stopped by. The visual appeal drew a few curious onlookers, but the real draw was relief from the heat.
The team ended the drive having served 20 litres of sharbat, another dose of cold comfort delivered to a busy Kolkata street on a warm May day.
