At Hope Foundation this May, three AquaTerra volunteers led a Reflect and Grow session designed to help children slow down and understand their own emotions. Through simple exercises and honest conversation, 35 kids got the chance to talk about how they feel and why it matters.
The session leaned less on lectures and more on listening, giving children room to open up about confidence, fears, and self-worth in a way that felt safe. Volunteers guided the discussions gently, letting the children lead where they could.
It was a quiet but meaningful afternoon, the kind that doesn't always show results right away but plants something worth growing.
