Wear & Write launched its first edition in Kolkata this April, with five AquaTerra volunteers putting together and distributing packets of clothes and notebooks for children who needed both. By the end of the drive, 40 packets had been handed out.
It was as much about organising as it was about giving, sorting donations into packets that would actually be useful rather than just handed over in bulk. A solid start for what would go on to become a recurring campaign.
