Food Distribution Drive Day 2 | Paradox

AquaTerra welfare project · Kolkata

Four AquaTerra volunteers returned to the streets of Kolkata this April for the second day of the Food For All distribution drive, carrying 80 packed meals to hand out. The rhythm from Day 1 carried over, walking familiar routes and stopping wherever there was a need.

Each packet came with a brief exchange, a nod, a smile, sometimes just a moment of eye contact before moving on. It is in these small interactions that the drive finds its real purpose, beyond simply handing over food.

By the time the packets ran out, the volunteers had covered good ground and, more importantly, made sure no one nearby went without a meal that day.
