Three AquaTerra volunteers led Fold and Fun at South Calcutta Inner Wheel School this December, guiding 40 children through paper folds that turned into cranes, boats, and boxes. What started as fumbled creases soon became careful, focused folding as kids got the hang of it.
Origami has a quiet way of teaching patience, and that showed as the room settled into concentrated silence between bursts of excitement over finished shapes. Volunteers moved around helping with trickier folds.
By the end, desks were covered in paper creations, each one a small proof of what a little patience can produce.
