Seven AquaTerra volunteers turned an ordinary afternoon into a burst of energy with Step Up, a dance workshop built around rhythm and movement. Over 35 children showed up ready to move, and the room quickly filled with laughter, claps, and a few wobbly but enthusiastic dance steps.
Rather than a formal class, the session leaned into free expression — volunteers broke down simple steps and let the kids build their own routines from there. What stood out was how quickly the shyness wore off; by the end, even the quietest kids in the room were leading the moves.
It was a small reminder that sometimes the best way to teach confidence is to just turn up the music and let kids find their own rhythm.
