For the second edition of Colours of Durga, five AquaTerra volunteers returned to Pather Sathi this September to mark Durga Puja with 40 children through storytelling, art, and craft. Building on the first session, this round leaned further into discussion, encouraging kids to talk through what courage and unity meant to them.
Children painted puja decorations and sketched their own versions of the goddess as volunteers wove in stories tied to the festival's history. The room stayed animated throughout, equal parts classroom and celebration.
With the puja just around the corner, the session gave 40 children a head start on the festive spirit, wrapped in a lesson on where it all comes from.
