Rakhi Loom - Rakhi Workshop

Held in collaboration with Youthwave and South Calcutta Inner Wheel School, the Rakhi Workshop brought together creativity, culture, and community spirit. Children participated in making beautiful, handmade rakhis using eco-friendly materials, guided by enthusiastic volunteers. Alongside the art, the session explored the deeper meaning of Raksha Bandhan, celebrating bonds of love, protection, and unity. The workshop also encouraged sustainable practices by promoting reuse of materials and reducing waste. It was a joyful, hands-on experience that blended tradition with creativity, leaving the children proud of their work and more connected to the cultural roots of the festival.
