Nine AquaTerra volunteers descended on Ashok Hall School this August for one of the bigger Grow Green outings yet, planting 90 saplings across the school grounds and surrounding public spaces. It was a full day of digging, planting, and conversation.
Alongside the planting itself, volunteers spent time talking with residents and children about climate change and why green cover matters in a growing city. By the end, Ashok Hall School had 90 new saplings in the ground and a community that had spent the day thinking a little harder about the trees around them.
