Building a tiny self-sustaining world inside a bottle sounds like magic to a child, and that's more or less what happened at Pather Sathi this August. Three AquaTerra volunteers guided 40 children through layering soil, stones, and small plants into their own terrariums.
Beyond the fun of getting hands dirty, the session quietly introduced ideas about ecosystems and responsibility, since each child now had a little living thing to look after. Simple materials, but a lasting lesson in care.
