Pather Sathi Sunderbans Project

AquaTerra welfare project · Sunderban

The fifth edition of Pather Sathi Sundarbans, organized in collaboration with AquaTerra, marked yet another meaningful step in supporting one of India's most vulnerable and resilient regions. This initiative combined immediate relief efforts with long-term awareness. Over the course of the program, 250+ medical checkups were conducted for residents across remote villages. Beyond healthcare, the initiative placed strong emphasis on awareness and education. Volunteers engaged communities in interactive sessions on climate resilience, waste management, and biodiversity conservation. In partnership with local stakeholders, sustainable practices were promoted, including the use of cloth bags and safe drinking water through filtration methods. What set this edition apart was its ability to go beyond one-time relief—reinforcing that long-term change comes from grassroots engagement and trust-building.
