Ctrl+Create - Computer Workshop at Sunday School

AquaTerra welfare project · Pather Sathi

This July, three AquaTerra volunteers ran Ctrl+Create at Pather Sathi's Sunday School, introducing 30 children to a computer for many of them for the very first time. Volunteers walked the group through the basics, holding a mouse, finding icons, opening a simple program, one small step at a time.

What stood out was how quickly hesitation turned into curiosity. Children who started out unsure which button to click were soon asking to try things on their own, eager to see what else the screen could do.

It was a reminder that digital literacy starts small, and that the right first session can open a door that stays open.
