At CB Block Park this July, nine AquaTerra volunteers turned out for another edition of Grow Green, digging, planting, and watering their way to 80 new saplings in the ground. The park slowly filled with fresh greenery as the team moved from patch to patch.
It was hands-on work under the summer sun, but the payoff is one that grows over time. Each sapling planted at CB Block Park is a small investment in cleaner air and shade for the community, and the volunteers left knowing they'd added something lasting to the park.
