Colours have a way of loosening things up, and that was clear at Hope Foundation this June, where four AquaTerra volunteers ran an art therapy session built around painting, craft, and play. 40 children took part, each finding their own way into the activities.
There was no single right answer expected from anyone, which is exactly what made the afternoon work. Sometimes the most therapeutic thing a child can do is simply make something with their hands and be told it's good.
